You say you want a Revolution

I saw Matrix: Revolutions today.

I don't know where the critics got their reviews from, especially if they gave the second one good reviews. The third Matrix was overall a better movie than the second. For one thing, it had a lot of really cool parallels with the first movie. You should know what I mean if you've see both. The way that they resolved things was just about the best way they could (everyone dies), and there are some really neat, very subtle things in the very last scene of the movie (so pay close attention and see what you can gather from it!) Also, there are a very lot of religious parallels, most of which are quite obvious.

There were a few not-so-good things, like the one scene when Zion has only two hours left and Neo has to do something important to save humanity (you know which one I mean) is WAY too drawn-out. Also, a few minor plot points involving the Oracle (who had to have a new actor thanks to the death of the old one) and Neo's status towards the beginning of the movie are pretty feeble. Oh well.

You should go see it if you haven't. (And everyone doesn't die, by the way.)

Fools; I'll destroy them all

I suppose at any major university (and some may say especially at A&M) one will always find a small population of delinquent morons.

There are these two people in my nuclear 101 class; one exemplifies the stereotypical blonde, and the other the stereotypical hick. Every single day that I have that class (once a week) they spend the 20 minutes before class talking about how drunk they got or something half the time. I mean, they just go on crudely talking about something something something oh I was so drunk I couldn't remember something something oh, I have a test this week so it's an excuse to get drunk something something something.

The blonde, when asked how much power her hair dryer consumed answered interrogatively, "120 volts?"

I sure hope she doesn't design any reactors near me. :-)
We should all get one of these.

I WORK WITH SLUGS ON A DAILY BASIS.

Well, only whenever I do statics/dynamics with the AES system (pounds, etc.). It's better than using the silly pound-mass and gc way.

"People Valuing People in the Workplace"

I just finished a highly interesting workshop on "diversity" (somewhat in the PC sense of the word, but much less so than I expected). I will blog about it shortly.

Stay tuned for more on this subject.

Edit: I am a lazy bum of a procrastinator and don't feel like posting now or later. Maybe I'll try to post tomorrow.

The question of the day is...

What is the fur volume : body volume ratio of these rabbits?

Day tripper

For some reason I have the Beatles' song "Day Tripper" stuck in my head.

News at 11.

Got a good reason
For taking the easy way out;
Got a good reason
For taking the easy way out, now.

She was a day tripper,
One way ticket, yeah;
It took me so long to find out,
And I found out.

I, Irresponsible

I've been sick today, and instead of getting work done I've been slothing around playing mindless games.

And I have so much to do this week it's not even funny.

In conclusion, >:p

Once again, I say...

...Prokofiev rocks. I'm listening to Alexander Nevsky Cantata - The Crusaders in Pskov.

Both it and Alexandrov's Soviet National Anthem stir up some of that good ol' Russian patriotism in me, which is odd as I am not Russian.

Maybe we are all Russian at heart.

Or maybe I'm just rambling.
