Okay, bye-bye old poll, hello new poll!
Once again, the results of the last poll are completely, absolutely meaningless thanks to ... (drumroll) ... FELIX!

Arrowed!! (18, 64%)

Alas! It looks that since just a few hours ago, google and yahoo have stopped including blogs on their default searches. It looks like the era of random people coming to our web site through has quickly drawn to a close. However, MSN's search still finds us...
I was remarking to Meredith how she reminded me of "what's her face" from teen girl squad. She's got the long hair, the baggy clothes, she was bitten by a pack of rabid possums (err... squirrels), and the "w00t" and "whatever" attit00d about her. I'm sure there was something else "important" that I was going to say... but I forgot what. Hrmm.
Okay, now we are NUMBER ONE in an MSN search for ugly smokers!

Okay, I fixed some problems with the web page that I wasn't aware of earlier. It seems that the code that I wanted to use to make the fonts bigger actually made them smaller in some browsers. Oops.
To commemorate the random searches, I have added a small portion to the sidebar of our web site which lists all the searches that have found our web site. Only the search for "Seth Felix Meredith Adam" was done by me. The searches are just above the counter on the right side of the blog.
Okay, this is getting out of hand. More people are visiting from the most random of searches. Also, someone came through Gilbert's new blog. Case in point:
Completely Wacky! Especially since these were all in the last 40 visits.

Okay, more strange people have been visiting our blog. One person recently came from a search on taiwan foom mashine (that is not my spelling error). One person came from a search on bodybuilding. His time zone showed him to be in the time zone of East Russia. Our site was 113th on the list there. Another person came from a search on Buddyzoo popularity.

Wacky!
Hey, it's looking like this Friday's as good a time as any for a party. Email me (check your email if you don't have my address) with a yes or no, and I will be happy. This means you, Laurel!
Yay! I'm at work as a computer help guy at the IT department at ODP. I just set up my own personal computer for "work purposes." I haven't been asked to do anything real important yet, but everything is still cool.

Well, instead of wrapping cores for the "little beasties" guy (Phil Rumford) at the Gulf Core Repository, I will be working with the technology services as a computer geek in the Ocean Drilling Program. So, work work work!

I was looking around, and apparently there's a site that has a downloadable version of what amounts to a four-dimensional Rubik's cube. I thought Meredith might enjoy that. In other news, some researchers invented what amounts to a "force field" that prevents gasses and likely other low-heat-capacitance objects from getting through.
I've noticed this peculiar tendency with teachers to use a lot of exclamation points in their emails. For example, from Mrs. Jones:
Hi!!! I just got back from teaching in Abilene last week. It had some
very nice teachers but I don't really think that I would enjoy living in
Abilene!!! [...] Please reply when you get this message so that I don't have to call you!!!
I hope that your summer has started out well!

Mrs. Carney does the same thing too.

Yay for 80. We spent the afternoon playing 80 and watching "The Man Who Knew Too Little" and "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure" and the first part of "Spiderman." It was most excellent. 80 is such an awesome game.
